The Museum of Fine Art, first opened to the public in 1931, has occupied it since 1996.

The collection holds more than 5,200 works from the 14th century to the present, divided into old masters, icons, modern art, contemporary art, posters, and photography, film and video. Nearly 400 works are on show across 2,200 square metres, and the museum has a restoration department, a library and a shop.
