Split Nightlife

The palace lanes carry the early evening: small bars in Roman doorways, tables out on the stone, busiest between the end of dinner and midnight. Around Pjaca and Marmontova the rooms get bigger and the cocktail bars start. Later the crowd moves to the water, to the clubs and beach bars at Bacvice and Znjan, which is where the late licences are. It is a working city of two hundred thousand people, so the nightlife runs all year rather than shutting with the season.
