Split Beaches

Bacvice is the city beach and the famous one: shallow sand, warm water a long way out, and the picigin players who keep going through the winter. Ovcice and Firule sit immediately east of it, quieter and mostly local. Znjan and Trstenik are the bigger, newer stretches further along, with parking and beach bars. On the other side, under the pines of Marjan, Kasjuni and Bene are pebble and shade rather than sand, and reachable on foot from the centre if you do not mind the walk.
