FAQ

Is Venus Diving Center a PADI centre?

It has held PADI five-star resort status since 2013, after running PADI courses since 2004 and carrying resort status from 2009. Five star is the highest rating the agency gives a centre of this size.

Can a complete beginner dive at Venus Diving Center?

Yes. The introductory dive takes people with no certification, from the shore or from the boat, and children from the age of eight have a session of their own. Nobody needs a qualification to get in the water.

Where does Venus Diving Center dive?

Shore dives go in directly in front of the centre at Kastel Stari, and the boat works the water around Ciovo. Starting from the shore is the cheaper way to find out whether diving suits you.

What does diving cost at Venus Diving Center?

Published figures start at sixty euros for snorkelling and reach thirteen hundred and fifty for the full Divemaster certification, with the recreational courses in between. Equipment comes from the centre rather than hired elsewhere.

Which languages are courses taught in at Venus Diving Center?

English and Croatian. For a visitor that covers the theory sessions as well as the briefings, which matters on the longer certifications where there is classroom work before the water.
